Trust Wallet owned by Binance announces partnership with TON Ecosystem

Trust Wallet has partnered with The Open Network (TON) ecosystem to increase the adoption of blockchain technology.

As per a social media post, the cryptocurrency wallet provider stated that it is collaborating with the TON team to improve everyone's access to the TON and Telegram ecosystems through Trust Wallet.

By means of this partnership, Trust Wallet will have access to Telegram's user base, enabling it to concentrate more on decentralized applications (DApps) and gaming finance (GameFi), the post added.

Nate Zou, Head of Product at Trust Wallet, regarding the integration of TON into Trust Wallet, said that this was a natural progression. Our principles have always been in line with TON's user-friendly, community-driven approach. As a result of this collaboration, we have improved our cross-chain and cross-ecosystem interoperability, enabling the TON community to transfer assets in the Web3 world with ease and security. We think this partnership is a great fit and are excited about the possibilities it will present, Zou added.

The integration aims to enable TonKeeper wallet imports into Trust Wallet "in the coming weeks," with the goal of enhancing user experience with TON's blockchain technology. The wallet provider also intends to integrate TON Connect and TON DApps, adding more functionality "in the coming months." In addition, through the integration, the Web3 wallet provider will be able to send and receive Toncoin (TON) tokens to its 100 million users.

A few weeks back, OKX, a self-custody wallet, also announced that it has added support for TON to its Wallet service, increasing the total number of chains that it can work with to 100. OKX Web3 community can now find, swap, manage, and transfer digital assets across any of the supported chains by OKX Wallet, including TON, with more chains to be added soon.
