This collaboration between the ETH Kipu Foundation and the Buenos Aires Ministry of Education, Argentina, is a ground-breaking step for technological education as the country prepares the next generation for the tech economy, according to an announcement on August 19.
As part of this program, Buenos Aires high schools will soon provide professional internships in blockchain projects, providing students with practical experience in one of the industries that is expanding the fastest in the world, the post added. The first course begins on August 27.
Paula Doy, co-founder of ETH Kipu, said with this initiative, young people will have access to new career opportunities, and Argentina will take the lead in the global blockchain movement.
According to the post, the partnership would introduce a hybrid training program to equip 30 educators with the skills they need to teach courses related to Ethereum and blockchain technology, thereby ensuring the program's success. The teams are also developing an online Solidity course that will be taught to 500 students who are eighteen years of age or older. Young adults are going to learn the skills needed to develop decentralized applications (dApps) in this course, which will help further integrate blockchain technology into the local economy of Argentina.
With local projects significantly enhancing the global blockchain ecosystem, Argentina is emerging as a global hub for Ethereum adoption at the same time as this initiative. Argentina is securing its position at the forefront of technological innovation by cultivating a new generation of students who are knowledgeable about blockchain.
