Leading Blockchain for Data Flare integrates with LayerZero V2 giving access to 75 Blockchains

The integration of LayerZero with Flare represents a significant advancement as it opens up the blockchain to the more than 50,000 decentralized applications that have embraced LayerZero's cross-chain messaging standards, according to a press release. Additionally, Flare's secure and decentralized data can be integrated into any chain using LayerZero's pathway.
Hugo Philion, a co-founder of Flare, says, "We built Flare to achieve extremely high standards for security and decentralization." The permissionless integration of the modular security model and decentralized verifier networks in LayerZero V2 is a major advancement for the field.
"For all users and builders on Flare, this is an immensely valuable integration. The implementation of LayerZero V2 is expected to expedite the growth of Flare and facilitate the creation of an extensive range of inventive, interoperable products by builders. We are especially interested in Flare's potential to function as a highly secure DVN on LayerZero V2,” added Hugo.
Some of the benefits of the LayerZero V2 integration with Flare are the immediate, secure connectivity to thousands of applications and services built on leading blockchains. With interaction possible across all LayerZero-connected chains, including Solana, Ethereum, and multiple EVM L1s and L2s, the integration gives Flare dapp developers access to a vast array of new users and sources of liquidity.
Networks can build their own DVNs to further improve security because LayerZero V2 DVNs are permissionless, the statement added. With its network layer security, Flare's enshrined data protocols allow it to potentially function as a highly secure DVN on LayerZero V2.

Hugo Philion explained example use cases and said: "He finds it very interesting that LayerZero can assist Flare in facilitating a cross-chain financial market while also utilizing the integration of non-smart contract tokens on Flare, such as XRP and BTC, via the upcoming FAssets system." He added that the capacity of Flare builders to create chain-agnostic NFTs, or omnichain fungible tokens, is another interesting feature.
