According to a statement, the automobile company said to give fans and customers groundbreaking experiences and increased loyalty, the pair will merge their physical and digital ecosystems. With this partnership, Automobili Lamborghini will introduce their renowned cars to the gaming industry for the first time ever using an interoperable blockchain.
Lamborghini immersive platform Fast ForWorld
The partnership aims to develop Fast ForWorld, the upcoming immersive platform from Automobili Lamborghini, where enthusiasts, players, and owners will be able to experiment, play, interact, and gather digital collectibles while earning rewards for their participation.
Lamborghini Launches Fast ForWorld in partnership with Motorverse
Animoca's subsidiary Motorverse, a global community and ecosystem for racing games, digital cars, and motorsport culture, will team up with Fast ForWorld to create a first-of-its-kind gaming experience featuring interoperable digital car collectibles. Lamborghini's iconic super sports cars will soon be available for purchase, sale, ownership, and driving in a wide range of Motorverse games.
Upon launch, these super sport cars will be available as interoperable digital assets that can be used on various gaming platforms such as Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, the Motorverse Hub, and Fast ForWorld's exclusive experience.
Fast ForWorld to go live on November 7
With its design, development, and implementation by Gravitaslabs, Fast ForWorld is poised to become Lamborghini's hub for Web3 initiatives and digital engagement, providing an ecosystem where partners and enthusiasts can discover new benefits and experiences.
The platform's first version, which launches on November 7, will include interoperable features that allow users to play and interact with their cars and a 3D wallet to store users' digital products.
Fans will need to obtain the Lamborghini Revuelto, the first digital super sports car, in order to gain access to the Fast ForWorld platform. The car comes with the Fast ForWorld Genesis Capsule, which unlocks exclusive benefits within and outside of the platform and acts as the entry key to an interoperable ecosystem. Beginning in November, the Lamborghini Revuelto with its integrated Genesis capsules will be accessible worldwide.
Web3 games dominating the blockchain industry
This partnership announcement occurs as millions of players continue to be drawn to Web3 games. In addition to Lamborghini, shoe company Puma recently joined forces with Web3 soccer game UNKJD. Through the collaboration, Puma will be incorporated into in-game content, resulting in the development of Puma-based characters that have access to new skills and skins.
As gaming continues to draw in millions of players, brands are making money off of Web3 gaming's popularity. More than 300 million users have already been added to the Telegram clicker game Hamster Kombat, according to an announcement made on July 30. Similarly, Catizen, a different Telegram clicker game, reported that it had 800,000 paying users in its first half-year.
