Hong Kong’s licensed crypto exchange, HashKey Exchange, has also received approval and granted a license for HashKey Global from the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Bermuda is one of the world's largest offshore financial and reinsurance centers.

The trading platform, via its official website, will be offering high-quality projects an opportunity to expand their reach to more users and boost the company's market share within the crypto industry. This announcement also matches the goal set by Hong Kong to be a global cryptocurrency hub.

The firm has launched 21 new tokens on its spot market, including popular cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, AVAX, MATIC, RNDR, LINK, UNI, LDO, AAVE, MKR, COMP, DYDX, ATOM, DOT, SNX, OP, LTC, ARB, and DOGE. These tokens are only available in USDT trading pairs.

Recently, Hashiki Group announced that it had launched Hashiki Global, offering services to individual investors around the world. On April 8th, 2024, during the launch of HashKey Global, the crypto trading platform announced that the majority of customers are expected to be Chinese users based overseas and in Southeast Asian countries. It will also not provide services to mainland China, Hong Kong, or the US. However, Hashkey Exchange targets high-net-worth individuals in the Asian city of Hong Kong.

The popular Hong Kong exchange, Hashiki Global, will provide trading products and services, including leverage, futures, asset staking, and LaunchPad.

HashKey Global further plans to list high-quality digital assets on its exchange as it competes to overtake US-headquartered crypto exchange Coinbase in the next five years.

Explaining the criteria for review and licensing, users need to apply for a license using a Google form, and if the project submitted passes reviews, the team will get in touch.

The factors to be used by the HashKey Global team for evaluation of each project include background, community size, products, token economic models, etc. Other security and compliance criteria are for the projects to undergo a security audit, obtain legal opinions, demonstrate access to anti-money laundering controls such as Know Your Transaction (“KYT”), and address other relevant issues.
