Bitpanda and Deutsche Bank join forces for Real Time Crypto Payments in Germany

Bitpanda has announced today that it is expanding its partnership with Deutsche Bank to offer German users real-time payment options.

According to a press release from fintech unicorn Bitpanda, the partnership includes an API-based account solution that will give the company access to German IBANs, simplifying and improving the user experience while guaranteeing assurance, speed, and efficiency. This is Bitpanda's latest move in an attempt to maintain its status as the leading digital asset trading platform in Europe and provide a tailored local solution.

Bitpanda's deputy CEO, Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, stated, "We can create real value for people by bringing the best parts of the industry together." The fact that Deutsche Bank is dedicated to partnering with fresh and creative players in the financial sector keeps our work going. We can now use a variety of Deutsche Bank products, which will benefit both our team and our users.

Kilian Thalhammer, Global Head of Merchant Solutions at Deutsche Bank, said: "We are always looking to collaborate with companies that share our commitment to user safety and security. We are confident that we can contribute to the establishment of a reliable and secure environment for users in this innovative field of virtual asset investing with Bitpanda. In order to actively engage with leading industry players to shape this emerging ecosystem, our goal of becoming the preferred bank for high-potential platforms is being significantly advanced with the partnership with Bitpanda.

Bitpanda provides retail investors with access to over 2,800 selected virtual assets and indices, as well as stocks, ETFs, and commodities. The company is currently experiencing a period of significant growth, and Deutsche Bank is another major institutional partnership. The unicorn believes that this kind of integration will define the financial services industry's future; working with traditional financial services providers is one of its strategic goals for 2024.
